The Kingfishers performed their last assembly of the school year. The children were confident to stand up and perform to the audience. The children told the audience about what they enjoy learning at school, read Kingfisher’s Class ABC poem and sang ‘Oh I do like to be beside the seaside’ A great assembly Kingfishers.

Kingfishers Class were very excited as they had received a very important letter. Mrs Clark opened the envelope and read the letter from Thomas Claridge (Head of Royal Correspondence) who was writing on behalf of the King. The letter was thanking the children for sending congratulations cards for the King’s Coronation.
On Thursday 15th June, the children took part in Clean Air Day. The children were encouraged to walk to school and leave the car at home. Miss Jones also told the children about Clean Air Day in assembly. The children learned about the source, affect and solution for air pollution.
