On Monday 19th February Kingfishers Class celebrated Chinese New Year. The children were very lucky as Miss Cheug came in to school and spoke to them about Chinese New Year. The children took part in different activities which included making a lucky red envelope, a wishing orange with their hopes for the year and a chopstick challenge. Miss Cheug showed the children how to do Chinese writing and they enjoyed having a go at it. The children also enjoyed tasting Chinese food and using chopsticks. Thank you Miss Cheug for sharing your experiences of the Chinese New Year.
