It was the turn of Owls class to host the assembly on Friday. The children shared some poetry work, including Kennings and list poems and they also performed ‘A Dinosaur Rap’. The newest additions namely Fudge & Dusty (the class rats) made an appearance and the children explained how to care for them. They also talked about the process of mummification, which they had learnt through their topic on Ancient Egypt, and shared some photos of them practising the mummification process using toilet rolls!
