This half term, the Swans have been learning about ‘Global Food’ as part of their Design and Technology topic with Miss Kluge. They have looked at different foods from around the world and thought about similarities between countries. They have looked at eating healthily and the ‘eat-well plate’. On Friday 26th January, the Swans looked at foods related to China and made Healthy Spring Rolls. They learnt that spring roll recipes differ between different regions of China and worked from a recipe that required them to chop, slice and peel vegetables in order to prepare the spring roll filling. The children then had their spring roll for their snack. Well done Swans!
