Woodpeckers Share Their Creative Skills With Their Parents!

Friday 2nd February  was the turn of The Woodpeckers to share their work during their sharing afternoon. The children have been learning about portraits in Art and have learnt how to draw a self-portrait as well as portraits of other people. The children were keen to pass on the skills they had developed and decided they wanted to draw a portrait of their parent or relative and for their parent or relative to draw them too! The children really enjoyed this activity – parents drawing skills were put to the test! Children encouraged their relatives to have a ‘growth mindset’  and get stuck in. By the end of the session everyone had produced lovely portraits of each other. Well done!
