This half term in art, the Year One children have been working on the unit of work – Landscapes using different Media – The Farm. The children thought about the question – Can we create details using controlled painting and other materials and objects? Today the children painted their cut out pictures from lesson one. They used water colour paints and thin brushes. They applied water to the paint and were able to use their artist rag to wipe the paint brush if needed. Once the objects were dry they arranged them on to their backgrounds they had created in lesson 3. When they were happy with the arrangement they stuck the objects in place.
