The children became historians. The children continued focusing on the question – Would you have rather been a farmer in Stratford St Mary in the past or now? The children recapped over last week’s learning thinking about how jobs on the farm have changed over time. The children thought about the enquiry question – Have local grains always been used throughout the past? The children learned all about the different grains which are grown on farms and how they were used in the past. The children looked at the wheat, oats and barley grains. They learned what these grains are used for. The children also had ago at grinding some wheat to make flour using a mortar and pestle. Great work Kingfishers.
