PE – Team Building

The children had their PE lesson with Miss Jones. The children focused on team building. The children began with an explorer warm up. They moved around the jungle in different ways – explorer walk, river jumps, side step the snake and stepping stone hop. The children were encouraged to keep their head up and find the empty space. The children played explorer rescue tag. There were four catchers with cones. If they got tagged they had to sit down. To be rescued – two explorers held their hands and helped them up. The children went on a parachute missions and were told they must work together to complete each mission – Making Waves, Wave Explorer and Giant Mushroom. The children then completed the hoop escape. They helped each other to climb through the hoop by lifting the hoop for them! The children really enjoyed the lesson and so did Miss Jones! Great teamwork Kingfishers.
