The children joined Holly the Road Safety Officer for a Road Safety workshop. Holly asked the children how they travelled to school that morning. They discussed what they already knew about Road Safety – look both ways, keep your seatbelts on, look out for fast cars. The children watched a video about Road Safety showing them how to cross the road safely. Holly spoke to the children about the different parts of the road and pavement. Holly showed the children how to stand while waiting to cross the road. The children discussed what they might see on the road. The children listened to a song and played a game all about Road Safety. The children were asked to remember the saying – Stop, look, listen and think! and remember it when they are walking home.
