The theme for Anti-Bullying Week this year is ‘Change Starts With Us’. The children have taken part in assemblies across the week and discussed how we can all make small changes to the way we behave towards people we perceive as ‘different’ in order to celebrate difference and create a kinder world. We also took part in National Odd Socks Day to raise money for Childline. The children wore odd socks on Tuesday 12th November 2019 and designed their own unique pair of socks whilst learning that every one is equal; and it is good to be unique! Each class also wrote their own Diversity acrostic poem to go on a whole school display celebrating Diversity with their wonderful sock designs. A special thank you to the Anti-Bullying Buddies who did a fantastic job of coming up with the ideas for Anti-Bullying week and helping to coordinate it. Well done!
