The children in Year One have been learning about data handling in Computing. The children thought about the enquiry question – Can we represent data in different ways? The children were asked to sort and categories objects and to explain how items have been sorted and categories. The children watched a video clip and practised counting the animals. They were then shown a zoo map and asked to remember they type of animals and how many animals were in each enclosure. They represented each set of animals using objects and drawings. The children used more and fewer to discuss the groups of animals. Great work Kingfishers.
