On Friday 24th March 2017 it was the turn of Kingfishers to show their work in their class assembly. The children were confident to stand up, talk and sing to the audience. The children proudly showed their work and talked about what they had learnt. They talked about pancakes, showing the shopping lists they had written and their Maths, showing the cost of different toppings for their pancakes. They sang songs about pancakes too. They spoke about their visit to the Vets and showed their paintings of pets. They shared their mini creature what am I poems and asked the audience to guess what mini creature they were describing. They proudly showed the beans they had grown and their bean diaries they had written. They shared their writing about why they love their mummy and sang them a song about Mother’s Day. The children really enjoyed doing the assembly. They received their merit charts and a certificate from Miss Jones. Miss Jones was very proud of all the Kingfishers, a fantastic assembly!
