Four children from the Swans class travelled with Mrs Smith to East Bergholt High School to take part in the Kate Greenaway book awards event . The idea of the morning was to choose a favourite book out of a possible seven . The children mixed with other primary school aged children and took part in activities before picking a favourite. The most popular choice was called ‘Once upon an Alphabet’. The results from the East Bergholt event will be sent to the organisers of the Kate Greenaway awards and added to the other results before deciding on an eventual winner.
