On Tuesday 17th March, the Owls class went to Mountfitchet Castle, which is a recreated Norman castle and village. The trip followed on from last half term’s History topic on the Norman Invasion. The children enjoyed looking inside all the different buildings and interacting with the artefacts there. They enjoyed trying to find or remember all the answers to the questions about the Normans on their worksheets. The children were very well-behaved and everybody had a wonderful day.
