Owls’ visit to the church

On Thursday 14th May, as part of our local history topic, the Owls class visited Stratford St Mary Church. We had been learning about John Constable and exploring what the village would have been like in his time. While we were in the church, we looked for clues to find out which parts of the church would have existed in Constable’s time, and which were more recent. We were also lucky to be joined by Mrs. Cousins, an assistant warden at the church, who kindly volunteered her time and knowledge to help us.
