Today the Woodpeckers went to Pizza Express in Ipswich to learn how to become a Pizzaiolo and create their own margarita pizzas! The children learned how to stretch and shape the dough, put it in the pan and stretch it out to the sides.  After that they learnt how to add the passata and mozzarella cheese to complete their margarita pizza. While the pizzas were in the oven the children learned about lots of different pizza ingredients and got to sample some raw ingredients too. Then there was even enough time to sample the goods! All children got to eat a slice of the pizza they had made and it was smiling faces all round! The children said they were “the best pizzas ever!!!” Well done Woodpeckers.
