Planting Potatoes

The children in Kingfishers class have enjoyed planting potatoes. The children worked with a partner putting compost into pots and placing seed potatoes in with the shoots pointing upwards. The children added more compost and watered them. The pots were covered with fleece to keep them warm and away from the frost. The children will look after the potatoes, they can’t wait to see them grow!
