Over the last half term, Woodpeckers have been learning about rocks in science. We have looked at the three types of rocks; igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. We found out how each rock is formed and looked at examples of each rock. In English, we have learnt about headings and subheadings, adverbials, adjectives, expanded noun phrases, commas in lists and much more! We thought we would combine our learning to create an information page or leaflet about rocks, using both our learning in science and in English.
