Year 6 have been learning about the Amazon rainforest and thinking about why the Amazon matters. We started off the topic by looking at the difference between a temperate rainforest and a tropical rainforest. In Science, we looked at the different layers of the rainforest and the different types of plants and animals that live there. We then created dioramas to show the different layers.
