Woodpeckers Class Assembly

Tuesday 10th May was the turn of The Woodpeckers to share their work with parents and the rest of the school for their class assembly. The children retold the story of The Ant And The Grasshopper using actions and performing in unison. They showed off their brilliant dip dye fabric prints and acted out some very ruthless Roman army facts! The children enjoyed making A ‘Tortoise formation’ with their shields and acting out the reasons why the Roman Army was so successful. The children were nervous to perform in front of an audience, and for some of them it was their first time speaking in front of parents and peers. They all did BRILLIANTLY and should be extremely proud of themselves. It was really nice to get a bit of pre-covid normality back and for the children to be able to show off their learning. Well done guys!
