The children became ‘artists’ and continued with the unit of work – Drawing: Marvellous Marks. The children thought about the question – Can we explore making marks with chalk? The children were given time to feel the chalk and comment on what they noticed. Mrs Clark told the children they were going to mark make like they had in previous lessons but this time using chalk. Mrs Clark challenged the children to make large marks using their entire arm and shoulder to make the motion. The children discussed the three different drawing mediums they had explored. They discussed similarities and difference and which was their favourite and why. Great mark making Kingfishers!
