The children in Kingfishers Class became Geographers. The children continued focusing on What is life like in the Jungle? Today the children thought about the question – Can we identify the locations and features of cloud forests? Today the children found out about a different type of jungle – Monteverde, Costa Rica – cloud forest. The children explored the jungle through the slides and discussed the weather, climate, human uses and plants. They thought about what they would hear, smell and feel if they were standing in the middle of Monteverde. The children made a cloud forest terrarium, listening carefully to instructions and following them. Great work Kingfishers, beautiful cloud forest terrariums.
