Felixstowe Beach

The children were very excited about their trip to Felixstowe beach. They enjoyed the coach journey to Felixstowe and the view over the Orwell Bridge. The children arrived at Felixstowe and had a snack before going on a scavenger hunt for different features at the beach. The children enjoyed playing and exploring on the beach, building sandcastles, looking at shells, pebbles and seaweed. The children walked along the pier and enjoyed the view. After a wet walk along the prom to find shelter the children had their lunch and had another opportunity to play on the beach. The children enjoyed having their treat of ice cream! They also had a visitor – Judy Jones a volunteer from the RLNI. She came and spoke to them about water safety and how to keep them safe at the beach. The children enjoyed their walk back to the coach. A fantastic day at Felixstowe and the children were very well behaved, very proud of all the children.
