On Tuesday afternoon the Kingfishers Class participated in Forest Fun session. They had a look by the pond to see if they could see the frogs but could not spot any today. They then looked in the place that they saw them last week but again, could not see them. They decided that they must be in the cool pond. The children were put into three groups and given the task of making a toad home. They listened to what they needed to do to create a home. They found a shaded spot out of the wind and worked together digging holes, gathering moss, leaves and bark to create a home. They then had a look at each other’s homes. Good teamwork and we hope to see some toads living in our homes soon!
