The children enjoyed another ‘Forest Fun’ session with Mrs Clark and Mrs Martin. The children got changed into their outside clothes and headed out to the Forest Fun area. They sat in a circle and talked about the rules, they talked about birds, listening to them and looking at old nests that Mrs Martin had found. They also held toy birds. They listened to the story of the May Fly. They went for a walk and saw frogs in the pond. They made magic potions using a pestle and mortar, played in the mud kitchen, threaded paper fish with thread and beads and played dens. Mrs Bilner came out to see what the children were doing and got stuck into the mud pies!!
