Not a Stick

The children enjoyed another ‘Forest Schools’ session with Mrs Martin, Miss Jones and Mrs Clark. The children got changed into their outside clothes and headed out to the Forest Fun area. The session was focused around the story ‘Not a Stick’. Mrs Martin read the children the story. The children were then given a challenge to find their own stick and image what it could be. The children had lots of great ideas – wands, swords, spears, bow and arrows. The children were then able to explore the area taking part in different activities- mud kitchen, den building, perfume making, making stick people and using the explorer bags. The children enjoyed telling each other what they enjoyed. The children had lots of fun. Well done Kingfishers.
