Gill, a councillor, from the parish council came and spoke to the children about a very exciting competition. Stratford St Mary Parish Council wanted the children of Stratford St Mary Primary School to design slow down posters so they could be displayed in Stratford St Mary to encourage drivers to slow down. The Parish Council wanted 10-15 slow down signs and were asking residents if they would display them in their gardens. Kingsley Estate agents in Dedham have very kindly agreed to sponsor the boards / posts for the slow down signs to go on. The children got busy creating their posters and Gill came back to judge the competition. The wining designs will now be made into signs to be displayed around the village. Well done to everyone who enter.
