The JRSOs are very happy with their Hi Vis Vests. The JRSOs wrote to the PTA asking if they could buy the vests so they could be recognised when doing their road safety duties. The PTA kindly supported the JRSOs with their request. A ‘Thank You’ to the PTA.

Hey Ewe!

The children in Kingfishers and Woodpeckers Class took part in their nativity performance of ‘Hey Ewe!’ to their family members in Stratford St Mary Church. They sang their songs beautifully, said their words clearly and were very well behaved whilst the other children performed. Great performance Kingfishers and Woodpeckers.

Sweeting Swing Band

Harvest Assembly

On Friday 18th October, we held our Harvest Assembly in the school hall. The children sang songs and read some beautiful poems. We also collected some non-perishable goods which will donated to the Colchester Food Bank.  Thank you for your generosity.    

ELSA Study

Children were invited to take part in the ELSA study run by researchers at the University of Birmingham. The ELSA study is a screening programme for children, aged 3-13 years to find out their risk of getting type 1 diabetes.
