This week the JRSOs have been busy promoting Road Safety Week to the children and staff. The JRSOs organised a Walk to School day, encouraging children and parents to walk instead of driving to school. The JRSOs were very pleased with the amount of children who walked to school. Thank you to all the children and parents who supported Walk to School day. The JRSOs also met with Mr Andrews and learnt how to use the Cross Roads equipment ready to teach the children in Kingfishers Class, ABC Pre School and Orchard Barns how to cross the road correctly. The JRSOs also encouraged parents to make sure all passengers wear a seatbelt when travelling in their car and to keep to 20mph on the road outside schools.
