The interview and singing of our choir from the Swans Class was on Radio Suffolk this morning, at 9am – if you missed it, it is still available for the next 29 days:
Choose the Radio Suffolk website, the presenter Etholle George and then ‘listen again’ – the interview is right at the end of the programme at 2mins 53seconds! It is well worth a listen as the children make some lovely comments and their singing in the background is a good indicator of how much they have gained in confidence these past few weeks.
Stratford St Mary was the only school to be interviewed and recorded on local radio – though we were in the newspapers with other schools last week as well, with some great pictures of our children rehearsing.
It is such a fantastic opportunity to work with the Pimlott Foundation on this project, with professional musicians and the opportunity to perform at the Mercury Theatre. Tickets are still available as far as I am aware – we are going to the matinee on Thursday 12th February, and the final performance on Saturday 14th is also with our children. I am so proud of the children!
