Testing Pirate Paddy’s Lunchbox

This half term, the Woodpeckers have been learning about Pirate Paddy and the problems with his lunch box. They had to design a lunchbox that could be passed across a rope, withstand waves and rain from the sea, withstand being pecked at by seagulls and deliver the lunch safely to the other ship without damaging the food inside or getting it wet. Therefore, their lunchbox needed a handle, a lid which can stay closed, be strong in structure and be waterproof. The children had great fun designing and making their lunchboxes. Then they went outside and used different equipment to test the lunchboxes and evaluate them. Well done Woodpeckers.
