Thinking about Bird Wildlife in Forest Schools

The children had their‘ Forest Fun’ session with Mrs Clark and Mrs Martin. The children sat in the tree stump circle and talked about birds and how we will need to start thinking about looking after them during the winter months. The children listened to a bird song (Mrs Martin had toy birds with their birdsong recorded) and they raised their hands, putting up a finger each time they heard a song. They heard 5 different sounds. They were then able to access the crown making, bracelet threading as well as leaf painting and clay moulding. The mud kitchen and den making were also on offer to play with. Great work Kingfishers.
