During the week of the 5th of October the children were encouraged to walk to school. This year due to the current situation staff were unable to provide a ‘Walking Bus’, but this didn’t stop children and parents from walking to school. They parked their cars at the end of Strickmere and walked to school (even in the rain). In the classroom, the teachers displayed a wall chart which showed the class’ participation in Walk to School Week. The children received a sticker each day they walked to school. The children also received an activity book with different activities to complete each day. They really enjoyed completing the activities. Thank you to everyone who participated in walk to school week.
