This half term, Mrs Marshall is running a lunchtime Archaeology club for children in Owls and Swans classes. Over the last two weeks, the children had to work together to chip dinosaur bones out of rock. It was very difficult, and took them a long time. Once all the bones were out, the children had to try to work out what type of bone each one was, and then reconstruct them to make the dinosaur. Finally, they drew diagrams of what they had found. Later in the term, the children will be working outside to see what they can excavate and identify. The children have been really enthusiastic about Archaeology club so far and have been a pleasure to work with. We look forward to seeing what they are going to discover next.
