Tractor Visit

We were very pleased to welcome James Harris into our school on Wednesday afternoon as part of the ‘Tractors in School’ project. He talked to the children about the tractor and the work which is done on his farm in East Bergholt.  Even though it was raining, we all managed to have our photos taken!

Safer Internet Day

The children learnt about many things and were involved in a variety of activities; these included how to stay safe online and what to do if they see things they don’t like or are inappropriate. Cookery Fun!

History, Stories and Electricity

It was the turn of the Owls, on Friday 27th January, to share their work to parents and other children in the school. They read stories about Rama and Sita, talked about the dodgeball competition, received certificates and also shared their science work based on electricity.

Dynamic Dodgeballers!

Monday 23rd January saw 5 Owls compete in a dodgeball competition at Inspire Suffolk.  They played several games against other schools and won some, drew some and lost some.  All the children displayed great skill and determination as well as good team spirit – they even managed some games of table football in between matches!

Ten Pin Fun

Vex Club

On Wednesday evening a group of Swans started a Vex club. Over the next few weeks, they will build a Vex ‘model’ which can then be programmed to perform different tasks. We hope in the future to compete with other schools in a Vex robot competition. We will keep you updated on the progress.
