The children arrived at school in their brightest clothes to raise money for Children in Need. The JRSOs asked the children to wear their brightest clothes to promote the slogan Be safe, Be seen. Miss Kluge and the JRSOs chose a winner from each class for being in their brightest clothes. Mr Leroux was the brightest member of staff. The JRSOs also arranged a competition for the children to take part in. They had to design a piece of clothing which was bright. Mr Leroux judged the competition and picked the winners. The children took part in different activities during the day focusing on road safety and Children in Need. The children also wore their slippers to school to raise money for Age Concern in Suffolk. We raised over £60, half will be sent to Children in Need and the other half will go to Suffolk Age UK. Well done to the winners and for everyone who took part in the event and for supporting the charities.
