In this half term, children in the Swans, Owls and Woodpeckers class had the chance to participate in three events – U11 Boys Futsal, U9 Boys Futsal and U9 Girls Futsal, all held at Inspire Suffolk in Ipswich. It was fantastic to see children who do not usually like to compete in sporting events take part, represent the school and have a great time.
In the U11 event, the boys put in exceptional performances and came away with 7 points from five matches, which is our best return in Futsal to date. Well done boys!
The U9 girls had an absolutely brilliant time during their event, playing four matches and winning 2 points. The boys gained confidence after each game and we even managed to score a wonder goal in our final match which sparked wild celebrations! Well done to all children involved, they all showed great sportsmanship and were a real credit to the school.
