The children have been learning how to place a casualty into the recovery position and how to perform CPR and use defibrillators – using resuscitation dummies.
They were also shown what to do in the event of a choking incident as part of their PSHE unit on managing risks and safety.
The children posed some high level scientific questions to Tony – the first aid instructor who was impressed with their curiosity and questioning. He was also able to give them some answers!
