The children have been learning about different materials in Science and the importance of recycling. They have been writing similes about monsters in Literacy and learning about sculptures in D.T. The children have combined their learning and have been making monster sculptures using junk modelling and recyclable materials. The children worked hard to make their structure stable and then used glue and tissue paper for their monster colour. The children attached arts and craft materials to give their monsters features and make them unique. Well done Woodpeckers! Marvellous Monsters!
