Measuring Capacity

The children in Woodpecker Class have been trying hard to read the measurements on different types of scale. They have looked at weight, length, height, temperature and liquid capacity using a range of different measures. Today they worked outside to measure how much water had been poured into various jugs. Some jugs showed the amount clearly, and others had little lines to follow to work out the amount. Some children were able to count in 20s and 25s to find out how much water was in the jug when not all the numbers were clear. Well done Woodpeckers!
