The children in Kingfishers class have been learning about how to keep safe online. The children thought about the enquiry question – Can we understand how to treat others, both online and in-person? Miss Jones read the children the story of Digi Duck. The story was about Digi Duck who had a difficult decision to make while online and focused on friendship and responsibility. The children listened carefully to the story and were able to discuss and answer questions about what happened to Digi Duck. They also thought about the enquiry question – Can we understand the importance of being careful about what we post and share online? The children learned what the terms post and share mean whilst online. They also found out about what is meant by digital footprint and thought about how they use the internet at home and their digital footprint. Great work Kingfishers.
