In English this half term, the children have been focusing on instructions, thinking about how to plant a seed. The children were introduced to imperative (or bossy) verbs and that instructions should be short, clear and in the correct order. The children composed their own instructions independently. The children drew a picture on the front of their seed packet and cut out the packet and stuck it together. Fantastic seed packets Kingfishers.
