Still Life Drawing Inspired by Pattan’s Pumpkin

This week the Artists in Woodpeckers class have been using their knowledge of mark making techniques to create texture and tone to sketch their own still life drawings. In the centre of the classroom Mrs Thornton put together a Pattan’s Pumpkin inspired still life display and the children sat in a circle around it. The children chose their viewpoints and the part of the still life that they wanted to draw, then they sat and sketched whilst listening to Indian calming flute music. Well done!
