Woodpeckers Sharing Afternoon

At a recent sharing session, the Woodpeckers shared their D.T learning with their parents. They have been learning about different types of sculptures. They’ve studied sculptures by Eva Rothschild and looked at how she used lines and points to make her sculptures. The children worked with their parents to make sculptures out of marshmallows and cocktail sticks. Each table had the task of building something different. The blue table had to create a tower or a tall shape, the yellow table had to create 3D shapes and the red table had to create individual sculptures and then join them together to make one big sculpture. The children really enjoyed sharing their learning with their parents and working together. Well done.
