Swans recently had a visit from a published author, Lauren North. She delivered a workshop where she demonstrated how a book starts with a blank page and ends up as a published novel. Lauren spoke about her own journey as an author; her perseverance with rejection and how important it is to have faith in yourself and keep trying because you will get there in the end!
Many children were inspired to write their own stories at home as a result of this visit and really enjoyed the session.
