The Kingfishers Class took to the stage for their class assembly. The children were confident to stand up, talk and sing to the audience. The children proudly showed their work and talked about what they had learnt. The children talked about their Maths, counting back from 20 with their rockets, counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and talking about 2D and 3D shapes. The children talked about the topic for this half term which was Around the World. The children showed their suitcases packed for a cold and hot country. They showed their passports and talked about the places they had visited. They showed the Eiffel Towers they had built and postcards they had written in Antarctica. They talked about how they can keep safe in the sun. They sang two songs and showed their paintings using hot and cold colours. A lovely assembly Kingfishers, great work!!
