History
Today, the children have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons – who they were and where they came from. We will continue our learning and are hoping to produce some ‘eye-catching’ newspaper headlines over the next few days ready for our newspaper report. We look forward to sharing them with you.
Some of the Year 6 are enjoying being Tudor weavers! We think they would have been a great asset to Stratford St Mary during Tudor times where clothiers lived in the village and became a prominent contributor to the cloth industry.

On Monday 25th September, the Owls class were visited by an Ancient Egyptian scribe. The children had an amazing evacuee lunch at The Shed in Sproughton. Berty was impressed with all their knowledge about WW2 and they learnt a lot more from the artefacts which he shared – including the air raid siren!
