Cooking Club – Biscuits

The children enjoyed making biscuits this week in cooking club. The children worked together to weigh the ingredients, mix them altogether, roll out the dough and cut the dough into biscuit shapes. Great teamwork and lovely biscuits.

In cooking club the children enjoyed making pizza swirls and rocky road. The children were able to listen to instructions and follow them. They worked as a team, sharing the equipment and taking turns.

Children from Kingfishers and Woodpeckers class joined Miss Jones and Mrs Jones for cooking club after school. The children were very busy decorating biscuits and making cakes. The children created melted snowmen, snowmen faces and snowball cakes.

Baking Buns

During Cookery Club this week the children baked buns. The children cracked the eggs and mixed the ingredients together. The children watched the buns cook in the cupcake machines. The children enjoyed decorating their buns using icing and sprinkles. Well done chefs, lets hope they taste as good as they smelt.

Cheese Swirls and Chocolate Cakes

In Cookery Club this week, the chefs made cheese swirls. They sprinkled cheese on to puff pastry and rolled them into a snail shape. Mini Muffin Pizzas

During Cookery Club this week the children enjoyed making mini muffin pizzas. They were able to spread the tomato puree with a knife, grate the cheese and safely cut the ham, olives, pineapple and pepperoni. The children were able to follow instructions carefully and work safely. Well done chefs, great pizzas.
