This term children from the Kingfisher and Woodpecker Class have had the opportunity to attend the Multi sports after school club which is being run by Premier Sports. The children are trying different sports, working together and learning new skills. The children are really enjoying the sessions.

7 children from the Swans class were recently involved in a 2-day Bikeability course. They learnt some basic manoeuvres and also how to ride their bike safely on the road, showed an awareness of potential hazards and also demonstrated a basic understanding of the Highway Code. All children passed their Level 2 award. Well done children!

Last week the Woodpeckers shared their learning in front of the school and parents. The children retold the story of Noah’s Ark using actions and shared their own versions of the 10 commandments. The children also shared some of their wonderful recounts based on World Book Day and celebrated their achievements. Well done!
The Kingfisher Class visited Hall Farm today looking for signs of Spring. The children followed the farm trail and they saw daffodils, buds on trees, lambs and calves. Our Ancient Egyptian topic involved learning about the mummification process. We used toilet rolls to practise mummifying different members of the Owls Class. We also learnt about pyramids and built our own using Minecraft.
Today the children and staff celebrated World Book Day by coming to school dressed as their favourite book character.
