Thank you for attending the harvest assembly and for your kind harvest gifts which were greatly received by FIND in Ipswich.
Thank you all who came to our coffee morning, provided and bought cakes and thank you for supporting this fantastic cause – £180.21 was raised.
We are very pleased to announce we have raised over £800 from the Elmer Readathon. A big ‘Thank you’ to everyone who participated and for all the people who sponsored the children. The money raised will be donated to St Elizabeth Hospice – The Elmer Project. Thank you again for supporting this event.
On Friday 7th June the children (and adults) came to school in their pyjamas to celebrate Pyjamarama day donating 50p to the BookTrust charity. On Wednesday 22nd May the children and staff wore their favourite footwear to school and donated £1 to our Elmer project. There was a range of different footwear from flashing trainers to monster slippers. We raised £80. Thank you to everyone who took part and donated money.
On Friday 24th May the children and teachers celebrated Elmer’s 30th Birthday. Thank you to all the children and parents who supported our recent book fair. We raised £550.97 at our book fair which gives us £270.58 to spend on books for our school. We look forward to adding new titles to our shelves in the library.

The children in Woodpeckers class had the opportunity to work with Mrs Fisk to decorate Elmer. The children decorated their initial with different patterns and created feathers. The children also painted their own square for the patchwork trees. Great work Woodpeckers.
The painting of Elmer has started. Mrs Fisk has been busy painting the underneath of Elmer, which has been very tricky! The children have also helped Mrs Fisk paint the top of Elmer (blue) to create the sky. It is lovely to see Elmer coming to life.
Mrs Fisk came into school to prepare Elmer ready for his decoration. She cleaned him and primed him with white paint.
